Albertville Friendly City Days

The Albertville staff of Lake Community Bank, participated in the Annual Albertville Friendly City Days. We sponsored Gonzo the clown at the Albertville Fire Hall and provided document destruction for the community. Lake Community Bank provided entertainment by sponsoring Section 30 Band on Friday night. We also sponsored princess Mary Hybben.

We were fortunate this year to get a real sail boat for our float. The parade was well attended and we circulated candy and Frisbees.

Spring Coloring Contest

Lake Community Bank Albertville and Long Lake had a spring coloring contest for the kids. Many creative pictures were turned in and Amy Lazere, Branch Coordinator and Business Development said "this year was extremely hard to judge the colored pictures, each picture was done very well." The employees judge the pictures and pick the winners in May. Amy said "we look forward to the next contest in the fall. I imagine there will be even more creative pictures to judge."

Thank you to all the kids that turned in their pictures and we look forward to the holiday contest. You never know, you could be the next winner!

Winners this year were; Brooklyn Age 4, Morgan Age 8, Jordyn Age 2, and Gabriella Age 6.

Lake Community Bank's Coloring Contest

Lake Community Bank's coloring contest was a big success.
"Judging was hard because there were so many good entries", said Cheryl Ross from Lake Community Bank. Winners this year were; Mason Grinnell ages 0-3, Logan Grinnell ages, 4-5, Caleb Anseth ages 6-7 and Samantha Prodahl ages 8-9.

Library Spring Book Sale

The Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale March 2011 –
The Albertville location was a drop site for gently used books, CD's, DVDs and VHS tapes. Thank you to all our customers who donated! We packed the lobby.

Oktoberfest

Albertville held its 1st Oktoberfest, we had over 250 kids attend. The activities included a petting zoo, free pumpkins, decorating, goody bags and refreshments. Thank you to everyone who brought a non perishable food donation for the Hanover Food Shelf. Please join us this again this year on October 15, 2011.
